A daily rate is one part of a rental quote. Read the full price and the terms together.

Before agreeing to an exotic or luxury car rental, make sure the written quote identifies the exact vehicle, rental window, delivery plan and applicable requirements. This guide explains the items to review; the confirmed agreement establishes the actual terms.

The vehicle and rental period.

Check the actual car, color and relevant specification. Review the start and return dates and times, how the rental period is counted and the process for a late return or extension.

A daily listing does not establish a longer-period price, an approved extension or live availability. A revised window requires a revised confirmation.

The price and delivery.

Separate the rental charge from delivery, collection, applicable taxes and any other stated fees. Confirm both addresses and the handover locations. If the return is in another region or at a different property, it belongs in the quote.

Ask for the complete amount due and the payment schedule. If an item is described as an estimate, clarify what can change it and when the final amount will be confirmed.

The deposit is a separate question.

Review the required deposit amount, how it is taken and the conditions for release or refund. Ask whether it is a payment or an authorization, what can affect it and which party handles the return process.

Keep this separate from the rental price when comparing arrangements. An amount described as a refundable deposit is not the same thing as a rental charge.

Mileage, coverage and approved use.

Mileage
Included distance, how the allowance is calculated and the excess-mileage charge.
Coverage
Required coverage, approval process, any additional charge and the applicable responsibility terms.
Drivers
Who is approved to drive, the documentation required and how an additional driver is added.
Use & travel
Permitted locations and uses, including any event, production or proposed cross-border travel.
Return condition
Fuel, condition record, inspection process and other stated return expectations.

Changes and cancellation.

Read how cancellation, rescheduling, a vehicle change and an extension are handled. Understand the timing and financial effect before committing to the dates.

If the itinerary changes, request agreement before changing the use, driver, return address or rental window. Keep the revised details in writing so both sides are working from the same arrangement.

One useful final check.

Can you identify the car, the full rental window, the complete price, the deposit, the mileage allowance, the approved driver and the return plan from the confirmation? If an essential point is missing, resolve it before booking.

Send your dates and preferred car to Valenza Exotics. We confirm the exact car, rate and requirements in writing for requests across Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego.
